This is the list for Americans. and why do you think the NUMBER ONE leading cause of death is heart disease??? because of the eating habits of Americans! We consume the most fatty foods in the universe. America, namely Texas, is occupied by more obese people than there are in all the other countries combined!

Fast Food Chains should be banned.
Carbonated drinks should be eliminated!
Junk Food should be limited.
Fresh fruit and vegetables should be a mandatory part of everyone's daily food intake, and parents should pay more attention to what their children are eating at the very early ages, to get them to have healthier eating habits.
Its never too early to tell them what's right!
AANNDDD at least 30-45 minutes a day should be spent exercising! just walking down the street is not exercise! JOG!
take the stairs instead of the elevator/escalator. Walk down to the grocery store a few blocks away. Youll be walking, saving money by not wasting gas, not burning gas thus adding to the already high amount of pollution, and you wont have the radio blasting having time to think, meditate, feel good about yourself, and see what kind of people you live around.
And YES you DO have TIME!!! dont say you are too busy and tired... you are tired because your body doesnt have that energy boost of a good workout.. after two weeks, you'll be feeling GREAT!

Minor problem with your logic: Fast food and carbonated drinks aren't banned in other parts of the world (such as Europe) and yet they don't seem to be doing as poorly. I think the problem is all the artifical junk they add to the food. And of course the lack of exercise is a huge factor.
