It's Monday Again!
Time for some more facts. I've included a few "personal" facts as well.
- Thirty percent of bottled water sold in the United States comes from municipal sources (i.e., it's somebody's tap water).
- I use one towel for my upper body and another towel for my lower body to dry off after showering.
- Portland, San Jose, Buffalo, Columbus, San Francisco, Denver, San Diego, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Riverside (CA) are tied for the cleanest drinking water in the world.
- I must close any half open doors in the room I am in.
- Osama bin Laden is left handed.
- The 3% "federal excise tax" on your cell phone bill actually started in 1898 to help pay for the Spanish-American War. One hundred years and we're still fighting the good fight I guess.
- Do you know the names of the three wise monkeys? They are: Mizaru (See no evil), Mikazaru (Hear no evil), and Mazaru (Speak no evil).
- 80% of millionaires drive second-hand cars
- There are more than 7 million millionaires in the world.
- In the US, murder is committed most frequently in August and least frequently in February.
