Golden Palace

Now this is a place for an Armenian to live! It reminds me of that story of the guy who turned everything he touched into gold. Yeah... I don't remember the rest of that story. Oh well.

Hong Kong newest tourist attraction named "The Golden House" is built from 2 tonnes of gold and costs 300 million HK (38 million USD) dollars to build. Its design is based mainly on Europe's ancient palace, sculpture and artwork, and it will be open to the public on September 23, 2006. Hoping to attraction more mainland China tourists, it is also possible for couples use this new attraction as a place for exchanging wedding vows. Click on the pictures for a larger view.
