It's 6am on a Saturday morning and here I am writing an entry. Yup Yup. I woke up at 4am and took my parents to the airport (off to Cancun they go). It was so damn cool being at the airport, because that's where I'm going to be in 1 month. I couldn't stop smiling! EEK!!!!!! Well I'm going to be all alone at home for a week, good way to spend memorial day weekend ay? I hit 115mph on the 405. Yes yes, no other time will you hear people say that about the 405 other than 4am on a Saturday.

There I was, looking life straight in the eye; the deep long breaths breaking the deafening silence. The stare continued, and then... life blinked.

Two roads diverged in a road, and I, I decided to create a new path. It did not matter where it led, only that it was a new journey, and THAT has made all the difference.

I like doing my own little remixes of popular sayings. What do you think?

I am getting complaints about my blogs no longer being long and fun. SCREW YOU IT'S MY BLOG! hehehe muah! Well then alright, I shall write. Today I bought the airplane tickets and booked the hotels. IT IS SET!!! I still can't believe it, I am so excited! It probably isn't going to hit me until I return. This month is pretty much over so all that is left is one month. WOW. I'm still a bit sick *cough cough* but it is getting better. Didn't go to class today because the teacher said you guys really shouldn't, even though I am here. Other than that... things are changing, my mindset is changing, emotions are changing... it is a very interesting time in my life.

Oh man the Louvre! I'm going to get to see the Mona Lisa, sexay!

For an atheist, I certainly do have a lot of faith in the future. Years later, I will let a few people know what the truth was about now, and boy is it going to be a SHOCKER.

Anyways, we had a CHP Inspection today, the guy spent 3 hours writing a report. Not good, not good at all. Oh well, we'll get past it, just like we get past anything.

Class took 4 minutes today. Yup, 4 minutes. He came in, said he has nothing to teach, we signed a sign-in sheet so that we could get 20 extra points on the 75 point quiz we took last week (which I got a 67 on, which became an 87: 116%). Then he said next week he's just going to go over Chapter 31, so if we read it at home, no need to come to class. He even said he isn't going to take roll. What a guy!

Interview with the Wild Wolf

I was born in darkness. My parents, Fear and Insecurity, raised me to their standards. I would watch all day, drink the pain of abuse, dwell in the joy of sorrow. At night, I came out to play. He would wake up bruised and bloody, scared and helpless. It was beautiful. He knew I did it, but wouldn't dare speak a word. How could he? Everyone already thought he was strange and crazy; he wouldn't dare want to prove them right. And so I stayed, hidden and waiting. His fear grew into terror. His terror fueled me, and soon enough, he was mine. All mine. Then something happened, something strange. Somewhere hidden inside his fear came a light, a light she created. She became his hope, the hope I dreaded. Day by day I lost control. I became hungry, starved of his fear. Finally, one day, I did not awake; but he did... next to her.

It's Sunday. I hate Sundays. On a better note, I just read Hasmig's away message, and she's right! May 16, 2003: Senior Prom. Yup yup, exactly one year ago, it was prom. My duckies remember well. What a day.

Anyways, I'm watching Ransom. Oh man that Mel Gibson is one DAMN good actor. Props.

Tomorrow is Monday.

Good Night.

If you could only give me one chance

Work, then Getty Museum with Yeva. Saw a lot of Clark people I hadn't seen for literally a year. It was... interesting. Then getting stuck in traffic for 2 hours before getting to Picanha. =)

Then I played with Anush and Ani, soooo cute!! Ani now knows how to write her name, and I finally got her laughter recorded (now I have all 3 of them recorded)

No more words, just actions.

So I couldn't find my hat... then it occurred to me that I didn't have one... SOOOOO I didn't wear it!!

THE PASSION OF THE ARTHUR, in theatres NEVER =) =) =)

One day the words I, me, and mine will be replaced with we, us, and our... non mihi, non tibi, sed nobis.
Went to Ichiban with Anilga, Eliza, Talin, Anahid, Ester, Emin, and Mina. Food sucked, but I already expected that. Funniest part was when we were leaving, Emin turned around and literally screamed "YOU GUYS THINK WE'RE GAY, BUT WE'RE NOT!" Now there's a highlight!

I realized the new commenting system sucks because you have to register with Blogger to post comments on people's blogs. It's free to register, but it's such a headache. I'm not going to change it back though, since not many people commented in the first place.

I told my parents that I am going to go to Europe with Yeva. They knew I was going to go, but not with whom. She didn't approve, but she at least acknowledges that I am going for sure. I LOVE IT! This Europe thing is what is keeping me so happy through everything right now.

Thank you Shant for the actual link to the video (DON'T WATCH IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT):

Video of Nick Berg Being Beheaded In Iraq

also, New Prison Abuse Photos Outrage Lawmakers. Some excerpts:

"American soldiers brutalizing Iraqi prisoners with snarling dogs or forced sex"

"military dogs menacing cowering Iraqi prisoners, Iraqi women forced to expose themselves and other sexual abuses."

"the pictures included forced homosexual sex"

"some of the images were of male prisoners masturbating. She said she saw a man hitting himself against a wall as though to knock himself unconscious."

"people in body bags and a person with a face "virtually gone." He saw "people being stitched up above the eyebrow apparently unconscious."

"there were people who were forced to have sex with each other"

"a prisoner was sodomizing himself"

and of course, House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (a Republican) thought "some people are overreacting. The people who are against the war are using this to their political ends."

Yeah, overreacting. Just like how we are overreacting to the beheading. Fucking Republicans.

Ok after analyzing the video (even though it isn't easy to watch over and over again), I've come to the conclusion that the video here is not of the same killing that has been in the news for the last couple of days. However, both were killed in the same exact fashion, so it's the same idea. So so sick.

Anyways, onto better topics. 1 month, 19 days left to Europe. Restaurant Network is doing about 6 estimates a day, and a 20% success rate is enough for about a hundred grand of income and a 64% profit margin. Let's hope it works.

Went to Business Law, took the quiz and left. No challenge whatsoever. That's why I love work so much, nothing holds me back.

I got the American Express Smart Card Reader. Very cool. Put the card in, and it has websites, usernames, and passwords all stored. No need to put in credit card information either. Finally a good use for those smart chips. Problem is that it causes an urge to shop online endlessly (which, I assume, is their goal).

Don't watch this if you have a weak stomach. It is the beheading of the American prisoner that is in the news:

Blogger.com now has a commenting system, so much for my cute custom one. I shall use theirs because... I can. Anyways, I went running with Yeva last night. First time running since my back problems started almost a year ago. Anyways, it was great. Crude oil is at over $40 a barrel, highest it's been in the last 13 years. Restaurant Network is starting to take off, so that's REALLY good news. Started planning the Europe trip, I'm very very excited. What else what else.

Oh on Saturday I was having lunch with Jack (business partner). Looking outside the window, I saw a mechanic shop and said "most business just don't want to grow. That guy in the shop will never expand." Jack nodded his head and said "It's because he's not a businessman, he's a mechanic. That's how it is with most businesses. They don't expand because they don't think to expand. They dont manage the business, they do the actual work." Oh how very true.

I know I will get a lot of shit from you school freaks, but I'm thinking of extending school another year. Instead of applying Fall 2004 for Fall 2005 session, I'll apply Fall 2005 for Fall 2006 session. Why? That will give me 3 semesters to finish the 5 classes I have left. That will give me approximately 2 and a half years to continue my work, and it'll give me time to see how my life is going (especially in the way of finances). My reasoning is that I'll only be delaying it a year, which is nothing in life. People go back to school when they are 50, so going when I'm one year older is not going to change a thing. However if I go early and leave work, I might miss the chance of a lifetime. Not worth it. Yeah, that's my new plan. Comment away.

Oh and I got to see Anush and Ani today. So so beautiful...

Went to Irvine to see Araks today, it was fun. Ate some Alaskan Halibut... doesn't taste any different from regular Halibut, but what do I know? I have a bite on my right arm that is the size of a small Mexican city. WTF YO! I'm still happy. Yup. Work is getting.... interesting. May is going to be a critical month. I love the rush and the issues and the situations and EVERYTHING. I'm addicted.

Final episode of Friends was on tonight. Commercials cost $2 million per 30 seconds. Wow! I had only watched a few episodes of Friends before, so I wasn't too into it, but the ending was very obvious. Oh well, they made their millions (with an estimated 45 million views)

sexay!
CInco de Mayo yesterday. After class I went to Anahid's house, where they were watching the Lakers game. How damn boring! I hate basketball. Take notice, if you are going to be watching basketball, don't call me over. That's for you Anahid! Then Anahid's brother had a lot of Mexican food prepared, which is great cuz I don't like Mexican food. Yup, I stayed hungry. It was fun though. Good people.

Europe in July is 95% sure as of now, so I shall start planning that adventure. It's gonna be FUN!

Tuesday, May 04, 2004

Grr! I just had an hour and a half long argument with my parents. I want to go to Europe in July, they don't want me to go. I don't know, it's sad. I didn't apply to any schools so that I'd be here with them. I gave up top education for them, and now all I'm asking for is ONE month and they're against it. It doesn't change anything, I am going regardless. I just need to make sure I can set up work so that it can be done with me missing for a month. My dad keeps saying "you don't need to go." How does he know? He never went anywhere when he was 19. I'm just really sad that my parents aren't supporting me.

A rather eventful Saturday. First, I was driving on the freeway going to my Saturday morning econ class and noticed the 2 freeway was closed off, so everyone was making the Harvey exit. Apparently they were also all stopped, and I wasn't... One thing led to another and I rear-ended the guy in front of me. There was a cop conveniently there so he guided us off the freeway and we took down each other's info. Nothing happened to my car, the bumper on his car looks like someone rammed it with a shopping cart, so no big deal. He was really nice about it, too. At the end he said "sorry," which I found really odd yet very cute.

In the evening, Anahid, Marina, Ramtin, Anilga, Talin, Shant, EMIN (sorry buddy I forgot about you) and 2 other people (forgot their names, I believe it was Hamlet and Eliza) went to Citywalk. Ate, walked, chatted. DONKEY! Great night, thank you all.
